The main aim of the Student Success website is to provide teaching staff and educational researchers in Higher Education institutes with findings and implications of educational research into student success in Higher Education. The website also presents practical advices, measures and good practices relevant for higher education
Since October 2016, the website Student Success is organized by the Center for Education and Learning (CEL), which is one of the academic centers of the alliance between Leiden University, Delft University and Erasmus University Rotterdam (LDE). The editorial board of the Student Success website consists of colleagues from the three universities.
The predecessor of the Student Success website is the Dutch website Studiesucces (in English: Study Success). This website Studiesucces started in 2009 as an initiative of ICLON, the Graduate School of Teaching at Leiden University. This website issues a weekly newsletter, which has over 600 subscribers.
